Last updated October 5, 2026 · Applies to Time Track System for iPhone, including version 0.28.2.
Time Track System is also called Track Time on your device. It is developed by Nicholas F. Tominello. Your work and fasting records are stored on your device, with a copy in your own iCloud Drive when enabled. The developer does not operate an app data-collection server. Optional features can share information with services you choose, as explained below.
Information the app keeps
The app stores the information you enter or generate: work sessions, tasks, notes, matters, rates, time blocks, settings, and, when used, your benefits profile, wage records, fasting history, journal, intake log and coaching conversations. These records can contain financial, health-related or other personal information.
You do not need a developer account to use the app. The app has no advertising or third-party analytics and does not track you across other apps or websites. The developer does not sell or rent your app records.
When information leaves your device
Your iCloud Drive
When iCloud Drive is enabled for Track Time, saves maintain a copy of your record and recoverable Trash in your own iCloud. There is no separate in-app switch for this. A fresh installation can restore that copy. Apple processes this information under its terms and privacy policy; the developer cannot access your iCloud account.
Optional AI coaching
The coach uses your authorized Anthropic or OpenAI API key, or passes a question to the separate Porta Angusta app using the key configured there. Before the first request to each recipient, Track Time identifies the recipient, explains what will be shared and asks for your permission. Questions are sent when you use the coach; your records are not uploaded in the background for AI processing.
Your question is sent to the selected provider. Compare mode can send it to both Anthropic and OpenAI. If cross-model sharing is enabled, another model's answer may also be included.
With context enabled, a question can include the current time, fast start time, duration and goal, today's intake, earned fasting milestones, and a summary of earlier fasts. Optional reading sharing adds reading context. Recent journal entries are included only if you enable journal sharing.
When using Porta Angusta, the question, selected context and up to eight recent conversation messages pass to that app on your device, which contacts its AI provider. Its separate privacy policy also applies.
Direct provider requests use HTTPS. API keys are stored in your device's iOS Keychain and used to authenticate with the chosen provider. Providers can associate requests with the account behind the key. Their terms, retention practices and account settings govern information they receive. Do not include information you do not want that provider to process. Turning off sharing or deleting a local conversation does not erase copies already received by a provider.
When you select dictation and grant permission, Apple's speech recognition converts microphone audio to text. Recognition may take place on your device or on Apple's servers. Track Time keeps the resulting text, not an audio recording. Apple's processing is covered by its privacy policy.
Calendar
If you enable calendar integration, the app requests write-only access to add time blocks as calendar events. It does not request access to read your personal calendar events. Added events may sync through the account that hosts the selected calendar.
One Track integration
If One Track is installed on the same device, the apps use a shared App Group folder. Running timer details, such as the matter, task and rate, can be made available there. Sessions you choose to push can be imported into One Track and then sent to your firm's TrackSystem service. One Track's privacy policy and your firm's practices govern that further processing.
Exports and support
Timesheets, wage reports, exports and backups go to the recipients or services you select when sharing. Those recipients control their copies. If you contact support, the developer and email service receive your message, contact information and anything you attach so they can respond. Avoid sending API keys or unnecessary sensitive records.
Retention, deletion and your choices
You can edit or delete records in the app and export copies for your own use. Some removed or replaced records are recoverable in Trash. The app is designed to remove Trash records older than 30 days when cleanup runs; you can also delete them from Trash.
Removing the app does not necessarily remove iCloud copies, exported files, calendar events or data already shared with other services. To stop future iCloud copies, manage Track Time's access in iPhone iCloud settings. To remove existing cloud copies, delete Track Time's data in your iCloud storage settings. Otherwise, reinstalling the app may restore it. Remove exported backups and calendar events separately where they are stored.
You can remove saved API keys and reset coach permissions in the coach's settings, and control context, journal and reading sharing. You can revoke microphone, speech-recognition and calendar permissions in iPhone Settings. Ask AI providers or other recipients about deletion of information they hold. The developer cannot retrieve or delete records held only on your device, in your iCloud or by an independent provider.
